  10. This DataType reads bitmap images stored in the PNG (Portable Network
  11. Graphics) format.
  12. The DataType supports all types of PNG-encoded images. Grayscale images
  13. are converted to palette-based images. True color (up to 48-bit) images
  14. are dithered using a fast Floyd-Steinberg method.
  15. This DataType also reads the Author, Copyright and Comment fields
  16. (DTA_ObjAuthor, DTA_ObjCopyright and DTA_ObjAnnotation DataType
  17. attributes).
  18. Two versions of the DataType are included here: 68000 and 68020+.
  19. Also included, an example of DataType-based image viewer (ViewDT), with
  20. source code.
